Please feel free to come to one or both of the services for Peter on Friday 1 March, which would have been his 64th birthday.

The service at the London Buddhist Centre will last around 1.5 hours hours starting at 1pm and the service at the City of London Crematorium will be for around an hour from 4pm or slightly after. (Travel details below.)

Please come dressed as you wish, casual or formal, and if you can, bring one or more daffodils as it's spring, they're lovely and it's St David's Day...

The reception will be from 5.15 - 7pm at the Aldersbrook Community Centre, Brading Crescent, E11 3RT where there are free spaces to park. It's a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the crematorium or you can catch a bus, numbers 101 or W19, which run approximately every 5 - 8 minutes.

The London Buddhist Centre has on street pay for parking which will be very limited. It's near the Bethnal Green Central line tube station. The City of London Crematorium has plenty of parking and is an 8 minute walk from Manor Park overland station.

NB It's not Manor Park Cemetery & Crematorium, but the City of London one...

Travel to the crematorium:

Drive to the City of London Crematorium, Aldersbrook Road, Manor Park, E12 5DQ. Or you can catch the Shenfield or Gidea Park TfL overland train from Liverpool Street or Stratford to Manor Park. Then it's an 8 minute walk or catch a W19 bus or towards Walthamstow or 101 to Wanstead. 

From the LBC to the crematorium:

This takes about 25 minutes by car or cab or 35 minutes by public transport.

You walk to the Bethnal Green tube station, take the Central line east to Stratford, cross to the neighbouring platform and take the Shenfield or Gidea Park TfL overland train to Manor Park. It's an 8 minute walk or catch a W19 bus or towards Walthamstow or 101 to Wanstead.
